[ He's tempted to accept the offer and just Door to M's place to unwind for a bit, but he's been hard at work in his lab since he got back from Caitlin's. Hence using the asset network to contact him, instead of texting. Keeps his hands free. ]

The one who dresses in black and has the slightly more original name compared to "Reverse Flash"?

But yeah, he's here. Has been for awhile and we didn't even know.

[ The fear in Cisco's voice when he says that makes him wish he'd texted, instead. ]

That's the thing. He could've hurt us already if he wanted to.

[There's a pause before he finally replies.]

Do you want me to hunt him down?

That's really tempting, but no, I don't know. That might just make things worse.

He took Barry's speed. Back home, I mean. And he kidnapped Caitlin. I don't want to put her in danger again.

Do you think you could give her an asset chip? Just in case?

As of yesterday. Normally I woulda opened with the good news, but she's really not doing okay.

Her Porter-powers aren't doing her any favors with everything that's going on. I'm trying to work up some dampeners for her right now.

What did she wind up getting? I could try to help her, like I am with Eddie.

As for the chip, I'm more than willing if she wants it.

Emotional stuff. Empathy and transmitting her own emotions. We had kind of a rough reunion earlier.

I'll talk to her about it. I gotta introduce you guys at some point anyway.

I can see how she'd be having difficulty coping.

You know, you haven't introduced me to any of your friends. Of course, I met your dear friend the Flash anywya when he tried to threaten me--I still need to thank him for the laugh, and Eddie Eddie from his network post, and your human eyesore toy machine when he broke into your lab.

I'm beginning to think you don't want me around them.

[M's teasing, of course, hoping to lighten the mood some after Cisco's harrowing past couple days.]

She's not even a metahuman, so it's not like she's had any time to get used to it at home, either.

Hey, you know that's not how it is. But I was actually kinda thinking it might be nice to, I dunno, have you come over to our place for dinner or something, meet everybody for real?

She'll get it, Cisco. Have faith in her.

I know it's not, it was just a joke. I'd like to think I'd know you better than that by now.

[Though Cisco can't see it, M's smiling.]
